The Confessions of St. Augustine: Selections from Books I-IX
Published in Paperback by Bolchazy Carducci (June, 1984)
Authors: J. Campbell and Augustine
Average review score:

excellent for students of latin!
These excerpts of the Confessions, as may not immediately be clear from the entry, stand as they were written--in Latin. It is an ideal book for practicing Latin. It contains a glossary in the back with all words used in the text. Also, it contains a fantastic introduction which seeks to equip the reader with all of the necessary syntactical developments that have occurred since the Classical period of Latin which Augustine utilizes.

Constructed Wetlands in the Sustainable Landscape
Published in Paperback by John Wiley & Sons (22 April, 1999)
Authors: Craig S. Campbell and Michael Ogden
Average review score:

Great All-around Guide for Constructed Wetlands
This book has become an invaluable reference around our office...for the engineers, landscape architect and directors. The book covers a range of useful topics, from design basics (including relevant modeling formulas), pricing estimates, integration information for planners, citizens and regulators, wetland ecology background notes, landscaping ideas and wonderful examples of systems that the authors themselves have designed and installed.

The book highlights the benefits of wetlands often overlooked or undervalued in other engineering-oriented texts - wildlife habitat creation, aesthetics, water recharge, etc.

Since the book was writen by a landscape architect and an engineer, two visionary pioneers in their fields, it covers a lot of useful ground.

Count With Little Bunny/Sticker Book With Reusable Stickers
Published in Hardcover by Viking Childrens Books (December, 1994)
Authors: Harriet Ziefert and Lisa Campbell Ernst
Average review score:

Count With Little Bunny is a fun and interactive book!
Count With Little Bunny has been one of my toddler's favorite books for over a year. The reusable stickers are adorable and also quite durable. Furthermore, the book does facilitate the learning of numbers. And how fun for a toddler to be in control of placing cars, stuffed animals, books, and balls on the appropriate pages. I am actually ordering another copy of this book for myself and I'm also buying one for a friend. A great book!

The Counterfeit Countess
Published in Paperback by New American Library (December, 1983)
Author: Diana Campbell
Average review score:

Conterfeit Countess
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The plot is one that everyone can enjoy. It grabs you by the hand and leads you into a whirl wind society that you are hesistant to leave. The characters portray your best friend, and the man of your dreams. This book is great for all ages. The romantic setting is enough to catch your eye, but the comedy ropes you in for good. The word choice in this book was top shelf. Just reading the book you could hear the sounds of Hyde Park, and the waves of the ocean lap against the boat. I highly recommend this book to anyone.

Country Living Country Chic: Country Style for Modern Living
Published in Hardcover by Hearst Books (December, 2001)
Authors: Liz Bauwens and Alexandra Campbell
Average review score:

A Beautiful Book That Teaches and Inspires,
many decorating ideas and styles within the framework of
Country. Although, I turn to this book when i am about to paint a room and need to study the effects of a color.Another person
might find it useful to learn the skills of simplifying a type of decor.
It starts with the stark simplicity and ulitarian work of
the American Shaker and brings in English Country and
proceeds to modern Cubism.
The pastel colors in this book are a feast to the eyes, in
their subtle combinations.
This book shows how details of life are important, but in
natural way without clutter prevailing in a room.
Except for the Bazaar Style and the Ethnic section, most of it would be welcome in your home. It even spruces up a trailer
for those who prefer to live on wheels.I highly recommend
this refresing look at Country "Chic.

The Country Vet's Home Remedies for Dogs
Published in Mass Market Paperback by Signet (June, 1998)
Authors: Kim Campbell Thornton, Editors of Consumer Guide, William D. Fortney, and Consumer Guide
Average review score:

Great Doggie Wisdom
I think this is one of the greatest books I've ever read. We've had dogs all of my life, and this book has some wonderful tips on everything you could ever want to know.

Kudos to Kim Campbell Thortnon and Dr. Fortney! Our dog is 2 and is a beautiful Husky, however he really likes to put our hands in his mouth. We've had some awful advice from trainers - even AKC trainers that I wouldn't even consider. This book has helped immensely!

Cracked Coverage: Television News, the Anti-Cocaine Crusade, and the Reagan Legacy
Published in Paperback by Duke Univ Pr (Txt) (April, 1994)
Authors: Jimmie L. Reeves and Richard Campbell
Average review score:

A brilliant piece of work.
Reeves and Campbell cut through all of the drug war crap in this superb cultural analysis. The role of the news -- especially the television network news -- is clear in the creation of a major "drug problem" and the need for a war on drugs. Need to know why the jails are overflowing with drug users? As this book points out, the Reagan-era news loved this "lock 'em up" story.
